You may see glue between the seams and want to get rid of it - the glue is not as beautiful as your new floor. Here's how to safely remove the glue so you don't have any effect on the beautiful floor:

Preparation tools: You need a scraper, a spray bottle and a solution to get rid of those glues. The solution can be a floor stripper or an acetone based nail remover. Acetone chemicals help loose glue. Other homeowners even use mineral spirits to help clean up.

Spray stripping solution: Put the stripping solution into the spray bottle and spray a little on the glue to be removed. The spray bottle allows you to control the liquid. It is always a good idea to test the solution in the unobtrusive part of the vinyl to avoid potential damage. If you want to be extra careful, you can pour some on the cloth and tap the glue. If you are using a product specifically designed to clean the floor, be sure to read the manufacturer's mixing and instructions for use.

Carefully scrape off the glue: After you have chosen the solution for a few minutes (the solution you use will affect the time), grab your scraper. You will use it to remove the glue. Place the edge of the scraper against the glue and push it horizontally. Avoid applying downward pressure as this will damage your new floor. Although a cleaning solution should help, you may need to push the handle a little to deform the glue.

Cleaning with water: After removing all the glue from the floor, apply water to rinse the space. This way, your floor will be free of cleaning chemicals. You can wet the fabric and wipe it on the tiles so that there is no water. Finally, dry the floor with another towel. If you prefer, you can also make a complete mop - you may also need to track the dirt during the installation process.
